There is a clear thread running through the work of guitarists Frankie Chavez and Peixe at the helm of Miramar. If the duo’s first album was described as a travel journal chronicling a contemplative road trip, and their second as a laboratory of places, then the brand new Miramar III acts more like an album of memories from the place where it all happened. There are visitors, noise, neighbours, interference and possible repercussions. Frankie Chavez and Peixe approach their memories from new angles, in an attempt to return to the place where they were once happy, hoping it has changed, as they have. It’s the third instalment of a story in two voices, where departures and homecomings are part of an infinite journey through time.

At this concert, the duo will be joined by special guest, musician and percussionist António Serginho (daquida, RETIMBRAR, Mão Verde).
